In the interest of full transparency, ABSNP provides the following information regarding its ownership and its relationship to the School Neuropsychology Institute (SNI).
Dr. Christopher Bedford and Dr. Julie Gettman are co-owners of both the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP) and the School Neuropsychology Institute (SNI). Both organizations operate as for-profit entities. Dr. Bedford serves as Executive Director of ABSNP and manages all ABSNP operations, credentialing decisions, and organizational governance. Dr. Gettman is a co-owner of ABSNP but holds no governance authority, executive role, operational responsibility, or decision-making role within ABSNP, and receives no direct compensation from ABSNP.
Dr. Gettman serves as Executive Director of SNI, a separate for-profit continuing education organization under common ownership with ABSNP. ABSNP's credentialing decisions are made independently of SNI. Completion of SNI training is not required to apply for or obtain the Diplomate in School Neuropsychology credential; see our Eligibility page for the full range of qualifying pathways.
